I was at the beach the other day and saw a woman so engrossed in one of the “50 Shades” books (not sure which one, but the covers are distinctive enough) that a wave washed her stuff away. Are they that good?? I guess so!

She did recover in time to fish her soaked bag out of the surf. Not sure about the flip-flops. One was last seen merrily bobbing out to sea.

The woman saw me watching this little burst of mayhem and her face was beet red.
