Hey, I have a newsletter!

After struggling to update a growing (almost typed ‘growling’) list of readers who enjoy hearing about new releases, I decided to make a formal newsletter for updates and exclusive free stories. So what are you waiting for?! Sign up now with this link:

Notes from Ellie

A serious note: I realize you all have the Internet at your happy fingertips. Your time is valuable. I respect that, and believe me, I’m thankful you’ve chosen to read my stories. So I assure you I’ll limit the number of mailing list announcements and only provide information I think you’ll find enjoyable and useful.

Look for the first installment of “Notes from Ellie” in the first week of April. If you have any questions, ideas, or topics you’d like to see me address, by all means let me know!

Whew! Back in the saddle.

You know, I’ll just admit it — election season wore me down. Sucked all the creative life right out of me. I have no real excuses for not getting more work done…except that I became obsessed with how various races were going, both local and nationally.

I think you’ll join me, then, in saying “Thank GOD that’s over.” Doesn’t matter who you support(ed). We’re all just glad it’s done.

So it’s back to work for me. Some fun new stories in the pipeline, and I’ll be sharing them with you soon. ;)

Busy times, future projects.

Apologies for the haphazard updates…I’ve been bouncing around between projects and neglected the blog. I’ve had a couple questions come in by e-mail lately, each asking similar questions, and thought I’d post a quick answer.

The question: will you ever write something longer? The answer: why, yes! As a matter of fact, I’m working on a project that will be more developed, and more character-driven, than the standard erotic shorts. It’s a mix of suspense and romance, with plenty of sex in between.

As an avid reader, I enjoy quickies as much as the next gal…but it’s nice to sink my teeth in to something a little more substantial, too. So, as a writer, it’s only natural to work with stories of all lengths/forms.

I’ll post some teasers for this mystery project in September, and maybe a quick glimpse at some super awesome covers. So stay tuned!

As always, the short-shorts will continue. I can’t resist the regular and irregular kinks, no matter how hard I try! ;)

I don’t say this enough: Thank you so much for reading my stories! I really do appreciate every single one of you.

A steamy April ahead.

It’s already nearly 90 degrees around here. It’s like we went straight from winter to summer…no spring at all. I’m not sure I’m ready for that. Although I’m quite done with winter coats and hats and gloves, so I guess I can’t complain too much.

But there are many more good, and hot, stories on the way. Stay tuned for new releases this week and, as always, thanks to everyone who’s picked up some stories, sent me notes, left reviews, etc. etc. Thanks for coming along on this ride! I hope to continue exploring for a good long time.

Procrastination = chores.

I’ll admit it — I’m having a tough time getting the middle of my next story done. This one is coming out in fragments. I’ve learned that’s okay. They don’t always show up the way you expect them to.

But enough of that. If there’s one thing people tire of quickly, it’s writers talking about writing.

All I’m here to do is procrastinate. For me, that means random clean-up tasks around the apartment or around the blog or wherever.

So this is what I’ve accomplished: I finally cleaned up my Stories page. I’ve been bad about updating recent releases, etc. Now it’s all neat and tidy and easy to maintain. Head on over and browse the catalog, if you like.

Lots of new stuff coming that I’ll post about soon. Amazon’s been a little hinky today so I’ve held off on a couple pieces that I’m excited to share with you this weekend.

Hump day! I wish! Hope it’s a happy one for you, kind readers.
